what I’ve been up to lately

lavender wedding paper flower bouquet

From my sister's lavender-y wedding

Lots of weddings.

I love doing custom orders; they force me to think outside my box and play with colors (and color combinations) I wouldn’t otherwise have worked with. And that’s what it’s all about, right? Plus, since I like to make every single flower unique, larger custom orders drive me to come up with my own folds and designs. Win-win!

A smattering from different orders…

lavender paper flower haircomb

The back of said sister's head. She's pretty from the front, too.

maroon and grey haircomb

Haircomb. You thought it was all about bouquets around here, didn't ya?

teal bridal bouquet

Teal with silver accents — this was a fun one

orange and purple paper flowers

I'll admit I was a little skeptical on this order, but I think it turned out pretty awesome!

plum paper flower bouquet

I was also skeptical of the pearl accents this bride requested, but I think she was on to something.

pink and blue bridesmaid bouquets

This bride wanted bright colors. Fun!

I’m glad you did the accents even if you were skeptical. I adore my flowers they were even awesomer in person. I hate to think they have to wait in a box for 56 days! I hinted to my fiance that he should buy me some more of your flowers for my anniversary next year :) .

Yep, you convinced me completely — thanks to you, I’m going to start offering more pearly options in the shop. :) So glad you love the flowers!

There are some pics coming in already, but the flowers were a big hit even with the more traditional crowd. Here’s a link to the current ones a friend has uploaded, there will be more, better ones soon.
